Student Leadership Session topics are all about real life.
Life 101: " BECOMING A WHOLE PERSON " is the Student Leadership session class recommended for new students.
[ Sequels are available by student request ie, Life 102, 201, 202, etc for future semesters. ]
This class is a journey using classic, Judeo-Christian documents to address meaningful issues such as:
Is the Human Life:
a quest for pleasure [ Freud ] ?
a quest for power [ Adler ] ?
a quest for meaning [ Frankl ] ?
a quest for self-needs [ Maslow ] ?
an experimental
process [Rogers ] ?
filling a particularly shaped inner blank [ Pascal ] ?
finding one's "raison d'être " ?
How did my Creator design me?
The Four Thousand Year Old Question: "What is Man?"
What are the functions of my invisible, inner, non-physical but, very real parts?
What is the primary purpose of my life?
What is multi-dimensional living?
Is happiness or success a worthy pursuit or a side effect of a greater purpose?
